On the afternoon of October 29, it was learned from the city's video conference on strengthening the prevention and control of air pollution in autumn and winter that the intensive period for the prevention and control of autumn and winter air pollution is from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. Jinan has formulated the Jinan Autumn and Winter Air Pollution Prevention and Control Plan (Draft for Comments) in accordance with the national plan (signed copy). According to the draft for comments, during the autumn and winter period, the average concentration of PM2.5 in the city will be controlled within 58.1 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year improvement of 4.8%, and the number of days with severe and above pollution will be controlled within 8 days, a year-on-year reduction of more than 2 days. Seven key tasks have also been formulated.
